The transactions page shows a list of all transactions made on your portfolio since the creation of your wallet, starting from the very beginning. This list includes various types of transactions such as borrowing, depositing, staking, and many others (refer to the list below).
Note: For more thorough instructions on this feature, watch this video.
Each transaction is represented by a card, showing basic information about the nature of the transaction, the protocol and token involved, the PnL of the transaction, and more.
Every transaction has a status, represented by a green or red icon:
The red icon represents transactions that have yet to be validated: make sure to categorize them, edit them, and validate them to reflect correct info in order to keep your portfolio accurate.
The green icon represents validated transactions: these show the correct information and have been already verified, needing no further edits.
The magic of Octav is that you can edit these transactions. You have complete control over the data, so you can label or write down notes for all of your transactions. Octav’s thorough data labelling service makes it the best DeFi reporting app.
The Filters feature lets you specify the kind of transactions you want to look up in your full transaction history: this is ideal to save time if you’ve got plenty of transactions!
Multiple filters are available:
Select Network: filter which network’s transactions you’d like to view;
Select Status: filter between Validated transactions and transactions that are To Be Reviewed;
Select Type: filter by transaction type (ex.: Airdrop, Bridge In/Out, Swap, Mint, etc);
Select protocol: filter the specific protocol(s) you’d like to view;
Sort by: Sort by newest or oldest transactions first;
Select Date Range: view the transactions made during a specific time range;
Select category: filter transactions by the custom categories you’ve created;
Sort by note: filter between transactions with or without notes.
