Available for paid wallets and bundles, the Analytics tab of the dashboard tracks the historical changes in your wallet or wallet bundles to show you the evolution of your DeFi activities. Find it under your Wallet/Bundle icon in the third tab on your dashboard, next to Positions and NFTs.
The way these analytics function is simple: at midnight UTC every day, Octav takes a snapshot of the state of your portfolio. With the collected information of each day, the dashboard builds graphs and statistics based on the fluctuations in your portfolio. This allows you to see an overall view of how your DeFi finances have been going through time, all in one place.
Funds Value shows the evolution of your total holdings over time in graph form, with a timeframe selection available: 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month, 6 Months, Year-to-date or 1 Year. Pick the timeframe of your choice to see just how exactly your portfolio varies over time!
The bottom tab shows the past few reports that were made for this portfolio, showing the total value of the bundle and the variation in this portfolio over time. While the graph above shows the evolution of the portfolio over time with the daily snapshots, this shows the variation between the previous report and the latest one, no matter the recurrence of the report whether it’s monthly, weekly or anything else.
The settings modal controls a few parameters related to the display of your analytics: here, you can switch privacy settings between Private and Public, choose the recurrence of the Snapshot reports for your variation, and create a custom URL for the bundle to share it with others.
